I am wanting to get hold of the lens for the above tv as it is damaged, if you know of anywhere or could help me in anyway that would be great.

Hi Ian,
If you use windows XP there is setting for the display/vga card to setup dual mode ( monitor & tv out ) simultaneously.
I use nvidia display card chipset with tv out port and there is some option from nvidia software driver to set the display as dual mode, monitor as primary display & tv as secondary display and vice versa, eg. you use monitor for pc application and TV for watching movie at the same time, etc..
